I logged on Poptropica this morning and checked out Steamworks Island. It was much harder to do than severalother quests before. It took me all day to finish it and I got stuck in a couple of different
places. There are plenty of puzzles and challenges all over the island. The biggest mystery of all is why no
one lives there anymore. Even though the people are gone, all the machinery they created was left behind. Towards the
start of the quest, you will encounter a robot companion named Sprocket and he will help you out many times.
As you travel around, you'll encounter all sorts of strange things like killer plant monsters. I tried to play on
my own for a while, but finally I checked out this awesome Poptropica Steamworks Island walkthrough.

There are lots
of puzzles that you need to solve in many of the places. A new change is that many of the
puzzles have several different levels that get harder as you go. One of the toughest puzzles to solve is the
steam valve puzzle you need to do each time you activate a steam terminal. In these puzzles, you must change
the steam pressure by re-routing the path it travels using a bunch of switches that add or subtract to the
pressure. These puzzles are much harder than on previous Poptropica islands.

I think the best part of the whole
island was the Factory underground poptropica secrets and cheats. It was fun to try and get the big machine
working and having Sprocket help out was pretty cool. Another zone I liked was the hibernation center at the end.
There isn't much to do there but it looks so cool.
